September 16, 2022 @ The Russ Room – June Swoon W/ Oh Lonesome Ana + The Snares
June Swoon, the solo project of songwriter Juli Lydell, is making an epic appearance here in Sacramento at The Russ Room. Julie, a Sacramento native, is known for her instantly recognizable voice; it is big and bright and grabs you by the heart! If you are unfamiliar, she has done some fantastic work in past local Sacramento bands, including Paper Pistols and The dreaded diamond. Julie released an album back in 2019 titled This Town Could Be Big Enough for the Both of Us, and she also has a brand new single out called Queen of Hears. Her solo work is beautifully crafted, with rich guitars and deeply meaningful lyrics. She shows that she is a powerful songwriter and is sure to sweep people off their feet! You don’t want to miss out on this show at The Russ Room on September 16.
Playing along with her are some other epic Sacramento bands, including Oh Lonesome Ana, who recently released a brand new album called Megadeth Tee and have received rave reviews for it! It is a beautiful album with remarkable storytelling by band leader Evan Bailey. The other powerhouse on the bill is The Snares! This young Sacramento band has garnered a rapid following by playing their mighty garage rock and performing brilliant live shows. They have a new album in the works but have also recently dropped two truly dope new singles, which you can find on their Bandcamp by clicking here!

September 30, 2022 @ The Starlet Room – Desario (Record Release Show) W/ ghostplay + Fawns Of Love
Desario has been a long-time staple of Sacramento, and they released a brand new album titled Signal and Noise on Fort Lowell Records! They will celebrate their new album with a record release show at The Starlet Room (located just above Harlow’s)! Desario has always been strong at crafting their songs. Simply put, they are great songwriters. This new album is a triumphant return that features carefully crafted songs full of brilliant layers of crunchy shoegaze guitars and lovely delays, all topped off with the soft, airy vocals of frontman John Conley. There is an excellent reason why this talented band has graced the Ace of Spade’s stage opening for bands like Echo and the bunny men, Jonny Marr, and The Charlatans (UK)! Also joining the bill to help celebrate the new album by Desario are dark melodic rockers ghostplay. ghostplay put out an EP in 2015 called 33 and have recently been sharing progress on their first-ever full-length LP! It is sure to be worth the wait! ghostplay is a band that reminds listeners of 80s-era goth with new-wave touches. In addition, their live performances are always a treat for fans and feature fog and their lighting system!
Opening the show will be the extremely talented Fawns Of Love! They will be traveling from Bakersfield, California, to join this bill! They are a wonderful dream-gaze group inspired by bands like Cocteau Twins and Depeche Mode. They are like a summer daydream with haunting vocals and nostalgic synths!
