I’m thrilled to kick off 2025 with a huge new feature for the blog—Sac.Indie.Music Records! Moving forward, I’ll be working closely with Sacramento’s talented local bands to release their albums on limited edition cassette tapes. We are excited to announce that we’ve signed local Sacramento band Clevers! They are officially part of the Sac.Indie.Music Records roster!

This new venture will be in addition to the work I’ve been doing since 2013 to support Sacramento’s indie music scene. Sac.Indie.Music will continue to share music, upcoming shows, and feature stories about local bands—just like we’ve always done! My mission remains the same: to help people discover the incredible talent in our city and build a stronger music community, all while staying true to that DIY ethos we love. I’m committed to giving back to the community and helping others release their music on cassette!
I truly hope the community gets excited about this new adventure. While Spotify might rake in the profits, we can still enjoy and support our local scene, promote each other, and have a blast discovering new music together!
Thank you for your ongoing support of this DIY blog/label. It’s because of you that we can continue pushing the local music scene forward. I’m excited for all the fun things to come in 2025, and I look forward to continuing to work together to support Sacramento’s vibrant music community.
Also, on a very important note, I want to sincerely thank the folks behind Transylvanian Recordings and Vacant Stare Records for their kindness and invaluable advice! Please check them out—they’ve released an amazing catalog of artists over the years. Support the underground scene as much as you can!
Thanks, everyone! Stay tuned!
Cheers,
Sac.Indie.Music 👽🛸
A Quick Note About Label Submissions:
At this time, I’m not accepting new submissions for the label feature. However, this will change in the future, so please stay tuned as the label evolves! In the meantime, I’m always open to music submissions for reviews and show info. While things can get a little slow (this is DIY, after all!), I encourage you to keep submitting—who knows, you could be the next artist signed to the label! Your submissions help me discover new music and bring you more exposure, so don’t hesitate to reach out!
